Sensory, Movement and Play!

Tots' Loquentes is all about the love of language and learning with your little ones.

Focusing on key areas of early learning development, we will take you through tailored activities to support for your baby's development. 

With years of experience within early years settings, we will share this expertise through a series of knowledge shares, resource recommendations and activities for you and baby to do together.

Classes are 40 minutes and will be lively with lots to discuss and do. 

Classes will run inside the Tots' Clubhouse and The Tots' Clubhouse depending upon the age of the child and the weather!

Resources

We don't share resources during classes.  
Resources are stored for 72 hours after use (to render any virus inactive), and cleaned and sanitised before use. 
Each child has their own equipment for the session. 

Social Distancing

We stay 2m apart.
Each family has their own area  for their activities.  Parents/guardians and their children can play together.
Supervision of children is required at all times.  
We are DBS checked and insured.

Fun and Learning!

Each family will have lots of fun 
and learn new skills!
 We will laugh together, keep each other safe 
and enjoy respectful play.
We are fully inclusive.

Session Times


Sessions are 40 minutes to an hour long.

We allow for an hour to ensure safe entry and exit to the lawn.

Sessions run in The Tots' Clubhouse.

What will we do in the classes?

Sensory, Movement and Play!

 Classes will support positive parenting methods.  There will be lots of baby/toddler language development and structured play.  We use treasure baskets, music, stories and hands-on exploration.
For little ones, there will be mirror play for tummy time, sensory experiences and heuristic play (learning the properties of objects).
For the older ones, there will be opportunities to develop language for understanding the world and how things work.
Plus, lots of time to learn, play and bond.

Tots' Loquentes for walkers and runners under 5s

What to wear

Classes inside the Tots' Clubhouse  
Wear suitable clothes for indoors with constant ventilation. Bring a baby blanket.

Classes in The Tots' Treehouse (marquee)
Wear suitable outdoor clothes for the weather. Children will need to wear warm clothes. Bring a picnic blanket and baby blanket, a drink and a snack. 

What to bring

Bring a changing mat, potty or other toilet aid, as necessary. We have a toilet for emergency use only.  We will have hand sanitiser, but you are welcome to bring your own.  

We don't wear masks or gloves in the sessions, but you are welcome to wear one. We wear them to set-up to retain the integrity of the sanitised resources.

How to get there

Our postcode is CV93AH.  But, this can take you elsewhere! Please look for Alder Mill Business Park and Alder Mill House. Park in the top car park and follow the concrete path to the lawn outside the house.
